Hornell, N.Y., July 20 --Senator O'Mara joined Assemblyman Phil Palmesano and Ed White, candidate for NYS Supreme Court Judge, at the 2024 Freedom Festival/12-County Veterans Family Picnic and Information Fair on Saturday, July 20th in Hornell -- and enjoyed the chance to visit with many area veterans and their families.
"It's just so important that they have access to services and it's events like this that may expose certain Veterans that aren't taking advantage of what might be out there," said Senator O'Mara. "A lot of the veteran's mentality is, 'Oh, I don't need it, let the other guy have it.' But every one of them deserves access to all of these services that are available because of their service to our country."
